Holiday Lighting Installation in Manchester and Bedford, NH
About twenty-five minutes from our Hampstead base, on the route every week of the season
Manchester and Bedford sit close enough to our Hampstead, New Hampshire base that they are on the route every week of the install season, which is the honest answer to the question most homeowners actually have: when will you be here. We measure your house, cut the strands to it, hang them with clips and nothing else, keep them lit, and take them down in January so you never climb an iced roof.
Route-week honesty: when we are actually in your town
Most lighting companies will tell you they serve your town. Fewer will tell you when. We run our installs as route weeks out of Hampstead, and Manchester and Bedford are close enough, about twenty-five minutes up Route 101 and 93, that they are on the schedule every week from early fall through the start of winter. That means when you book, we can tell you the week, and when a section goes dark on December 20th we are not driving across the state to fix it.
The route fills from the front. Homeowners in Bedford, Manchester's North End, Amherst, and Hollis who reach out in late summer or early fall choose their week. Once the first real snow lands, we keep installing on days the roof is dry, but the weeks are whatever is left. We tell you that on the first call rather than after.
Measured to your house, cut to your roofline
Bedford is full of large colonials and capes on wooded lots with long rooflines, multiple gables, and attached garages that add forty feet of eave. Manchester's North End has the older brick and clapboard homes with steep pitches and dormers. Neither one fits a stock strand. We measure every run you want lit at the walkthrough, main roofline, gables, dormers, porch, garage, and cut commercial-grade LED strands to those lengths. No coiled slack behind a dormer, no splice at the ridge, no half-lit section where a boxed set ran out.
Warm white along the roofline with garland and a wreath on the entry is the look most Bedford homes go for, and it suits the architecture. Color, tree wraps, and lit shrubs are available and we design them to the house.
Clips only. No holes, no staples, no adhesive.
Every strand is attached with a clip sized to the surface: shingle clips under the tab, gutter clips on the lip, fascia clips where there is no gutter. We do not drill, nail, screw, or staple into shingle, clapboard, trim, or gutter. On the older North End homes with original wood trim, the attachment is minimal and reversible. On the newer Bedford builds with composite trim and seamless gutters, nothing gets punctured. When the display comes down in January there is nothing to patch or repaint.
Built for a New Hampshire winter
Manchester and Bedford get real snow and real wind, and the display has to hold through both. We use commercial-grade LED strands, tighten the clip spacing on exposed elevations, and weather-seal every connection so a wet nor'easter does not take a run offline. Timers are set to local sunset, which in December is a little after four, so the house is lit when you get home rather than when somebody remembers the switch.
- On-site measurement and design at your home
- Custom-cut, commercial-grade LED roofline lighting in warm white, cool white, or color
- Optional wreaths, garland, column wraps, tree and shrub wraps, and landscape uplighting
- Installation by our crew with timers set to local sunset
- In-season service if a section goes dark, at no additional charge
- Takedown after the holidays on our ladders and schedule
- Labeled storage so next season is a re-hang of the same design
The January takedown is ours, not yours
Nobody gets hurt hanging lights in November. They get hurt in January, when the gutters are frozen, the shingles are glazed, and the lights have to come down anyway. That is the part of the job we most want you to hand over. Our takedown crews run Manchester and Bedford through the winter on days the roof is safe. We pull the display, coil and label every strand with your name, and store it until next fall. If an ice week pushes your date, we tell you and reschedule. We do not send a crew onto an iced roof, and we would rather you did not go up there either.
If you would rather be out of the annual install and takedown entirely, we also install permanent LED roofline systems that stay up year-round and switch to holiday color from an app.
Warm white, color, and what Bedford streets tend to do
Drive the neighborhoods off Route 101 in Bedford in December and the houses that look right share a restraint: warm white along the main roofline and the garage, garland with a bow on the entry, a wreath in each front window, maybe one wrapped maple by the drive. Manchester's North End leans the same way, with the older brick and clapboard doing most of the work. Color, animated accents, and fully wrapped front yards show up more in the newer subdivisions, and we are glad to design them when that is what you want. None of it is a rule. The point of measuring and designing at your house is that the display belongs to the house, not to a package pulled off a shelf.
